Poland · Business & founder
Poland Business Harbour
SUSPENDED since 26 January 2024 by Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski, and still suspended in 2026. No new visas or recommendations are being issued. The suspension followed findings that holders were transiting to other EU states rather than staying in Poland. It has not been formally closed. Resumption is conditioned on measures that would guarantee proper verification, but no timeline has emerged in over two years.
This one is included as a warning. The legacy programme page on gov.pl still reads as if PBH is live, with no notice of the suspension, and commercial guides promising PBH in 2026 are still selling it. The MFA statement is the authoritative source. This is a case where an official government page is actively misleading.

- The programme has been suspended since January 2024, with no new visas issued. Any advisor marketing PBH in 2026 is selling something that is not actually operating.
- The gov.pl programme page still presents PBH as live, with no suspension notice anywhere on it. Do not rely on that page. Rely on the MFA statement instead.
- Existing PBH visa holders remain valid until expiry, but must switch to a standard residence permit before then.
